KSM Christian Vision

Our vision was borne out of our Christian foundation and reflects the needs of our school community and local context.

Within our Christian community, our village school nurtures growth and creates opportunities for everyone’s unique strengths to blossom.

We provide the rich soil that enables our children to develop deep roots, grow and flourish.

Our vision underpins all that we do at KSM. All members of our KSM family are equally valued, respect themselves and others, and have high hopes for the brightest of futures.

KSM Biblical Root

Our Christian vision is underpinned by the Bible verse, Colossians 2.7 (Good News Bible).

And become stronger in your faith.

KSM School Christian Values.

At KSM our vision is underpinned by our six, clear core values, which drive the way we behave and interact with one another. Our Values are woven through our entire school life to create a learning community built on love and joy, in which we nurture, grow and flourish.

Trust: 'My God is my strength in whom I trust' (Psalm 18.2) helps us to learn about being trustworthy and being there for our friends when they need us.

Friendship: ‘A friend is always loyal and a brother is born to help in time of need’ (Proverbs 17:17). A true friend is always loving, loyal and helps in trying times.

Courage: ‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid’. (Deuteronomy 31.6) Children are encouraged to embrace courage and strength because God is always with them. 

Respect: 'Do to others as you would have them do to you' (Matthew 7.12) helps us all to value others, places and opinions that may be different to our own.

Forgiveness: ‘Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you’. (Ephesians 4:32) Respond to others with kindness and forgiveness.

Hope: ‘May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace’ (Romans 15:13) Put your trust in God to have joy and peace, which leads to overflowing hope!
