Kington St Michael CE Primary School, has high expectations for pupils’ attendance and punctuality, and ensure that these expectations are communicated regularly to parents and pupils.
Pupils will be expected to attend school punctually every day they are required to be at school, for the full day.
The school gate opens at 8.40am and the school day begins at 8.55am.

If Your Child Is Absent

Call the school first thing in the morning on 01249 750454 and either leave a message or speak to Mrs Allott or Miss Gardner. Or email admin@ksm.wilts.sch.uk.

Explain the nature of the illness so that this can be recorded in the school system.

Keep us updated each day if the absence continues.

Schedule appointments outside school hours where possible.
If Your Child Is Late

Telephone or email the school office as soon as possible.

Register at the main office.

Frequent lateness can count as unauthorised absence.
Holidays & Authorised Absence

Term-time holidays are usually unauthorised and can result in a fine.

Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance.

Only special circumstances may be approved.
Remember: Every day counts. Regular attendance helps your child succeed academically, socially, and in life!
