We warmly welcome parents who would like to offer their time and skills to support our KSM school community. Volunteering can make a real difference to children’s learning and experiences, and there are many ways you can get involved:

  • Hearing individual readers

  • Supporting on swimming days

  • Helping in the library

  • Accompanying school trips

  • Running specialist sessions based on your skills, e.g., science, history, art, French

  • Cooking with children

Volunteering can be on a regular basis, such as weekly, or for specific sessions. All volunteers receive guidance and training from the Teaching and Safeguarding Team.

We are extremely fortunate to have a dedicated group of parents and volunteers, helping to support children’s learning across the school.

If you are interested in volunteering, please speak to Mrs. Allott or Miss Gardner, in the school office. We are always keen to hear from new volunteers and welcome fresh ideas and experiences to share with our children.
