Kington St Michael C.E. Primary School welcomes children to start Reception in the September following their 4th birthday. Admissions are handled centrally by Wiltshire Council, and applications are available each September for the following academic year.
Our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 21, and we aim to keep class sizes below 30. We offer a pure Reception class of 21 children, led by a specialist EYFS Teacher, and a full time Teaching Assistant.
To help children settle in, Reception pupils initially attend in small groups for mornings or afternoons over the first three weeks, before moving to full-time attendance.
Before children start, we invite parents and carers to a Parent Information Evening, to meet the Headteacher, Reception Class Teacher, Chair of Governors, and Head of PTA. You will receive an information pack to take home and gain the chance to feel fully prepared and confident for September.
