Our SchoolWorld Book Day 2026
We enjoyed a magical celebration of stories, imagination and reading for pleasure on World Book Day 2026 at KSM. Children arrived dressed as their favourite characters - from brave wizards and daring heroes to rainbow unicorns and fantastic beasts roaming the playground! World Book Day encourages children to discover the joy of reading and this year's event is even more important, as it takes place during the UK's National Year of Reading 2026, a nationwide campaign encouraging everyone to 'Go all in' on reading for fun.
We were also thrilled to welcome a full roster of Mystery Readers - and the children loved the surprises! Thank you to the wonderful parents who volunteered their time, enthusiasm and acting talents to bring their favourite stories vividly to life for our children.
