The full governing body meets at least once per term (six times per year).
The role of the governing body is primarily strategic. Its key responsibilities include:

Setting the school’s aims and objectives

Developing policies to achieve those aims

Setting targets to measure success

Monitoring and evaluating the school’s progress

Acting as a critical friend to the Headteacher, providing both challenge and support
The Governors work alongside the Headteacher and staff to ensure that Kington St Michael CE Primary School continues to provide the best possible education for every child.
