A Letter of Celebration for Parents and Carers
We are delighted to share some wonderful news about our children's achievements during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Our latest assessment results give us so much to celebrate. They reflect the hard work, determination and progress of our children, alongside the dedication of our staff and the support of our families. We are incredibly proud of what our children have achieved.
There are some particularly exciting highlights this year:
- 86% of our Reception children achieved a Good Level of Development, compared with 75% across Wiltshire and 72% nationally.
- Our Year 1 children have excelled in phonics. 88.2% met the expected standard, above both local and national figures.
- Our Year 4 pupils have shown exceptional multiplication skills. An impressive 90.4% achieved full marks in the Multiplication Tables Check.
- Our Year 6 pupils have achieved some excellent SATs results. 77% reached the expected standard or above in reading, writing and maths combined, compared with 60% locally and 63% nationally.
- There has been further success in Year 6. 89% of pupils met the expected standard or above in reading and in spelling, punctuation and grammar, while 95% achieved the expected standard in science.
These results are particularly pleasing because they represent the learning, perseverance and progress of our KSM children, each with their own strengths, talents and individual journey.
We would like to thank our wonderful staff team for their commitment and dedication, and our governors for their continued support. Thank you, too, to all our parents and carers for the encouragement, support and partnership you provide. The relationship between home and school is so important, and we are grateful to have such a supportive school community.
Most importantly, we want to congratulate our children. They have worked incredibly hard, and they deserve to feel proud of their achievements.
There is so much to celebrate at KSM, and we look forward to building on these successes as we continue to help every child flourish.
